At the request of many of you, I'm posting the SoulBooster Word from my monthly e.newsletter here.
The May word is SURRENDER.
If
something (anything) is
not under your control - surrender it.
News flash - you're not in control of the universe (or
even the weather). So why not surrender?
Surrendering something
is not surrendering yourself. Surrendering does not equal
FAILURE or giving-up.
Surrendering is assessing a situation. Determine what you CAN and
CANNOT control and then place one foot in front of the other to MOVE FORWARD in a positive direction.
Surrendering is
all about paying attention and choosing. Like life, surrendering is simple, but not always easy.
Surrender your
fears and frustrations to what IS in control. Hand 'em over. Gift wrap 'em even!
Surrender beliefs that are unhealthy.
Surrender knots in your gut about the future.
Surrender aches
in your heart over the past.
Surrender grudges. They're like taking poison and waiting for the other
person to die.
Surrender anything (or
anyone) holding you down or back.
Surrendering doesn't always require a winner and a loser. White flags also signify
a truce (a state of peace). So go ahead, wave
the flag of surrender and declare yourself In Charge of your
own State of Peace.
